Peter Fasano established his hand-painted fabrics company in New York City in 1970. He was an apprentice to industry leaders like Albert Hadley and Harry Hinson, and thanks to this experience he was able to create a personal style that was refined and full of color. In 1990 he started collaborating with talented designers to expand his collections, and the company’s catalog was quickly accepted by the interior design community, thanks to its trending color palettes and the great quality of its textiles, especially its cottons, linens, and silks. Peter Fasano utilizes environmentally-friendly pigments that are mixed by hand and then applied with diverse printing techniques like drag-box striping and hand-screening, thus providing high-quality and precision to unique hand-made collections. The company also accepts commissions to create custom designs that can fit any decorative project. All hand-printed fabrics are made in the United States, with an average production time of 4-6 weeks. Peter Fasano produces wallcoverings as well, using both digital printing and hand-screening on a great range of grounds, including grasscloth and vinyl.
