Soothing earth tones allow Strata’s expansive pattern to blend with its environment. The specialty wallcovering’s fibrous substrate (a combination of cellulose, polyester and mica, which gives the surface its fine texture and subtle iridescence) absorbs color well. When digitally printed, Strata’s linear pattern blurs on the surface like watercolor brushstrokes, an effect especially obvious with blue colorways Moonstone and Carbon. With almost three feet of vertical repeat, the seamless pattern layers color on a geological scale.
