A 1976 graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Mark Pollack founded Pollack & Associates in New York City, with the help of Rick and Susan Sullivan. Together they created a collection of 22 textiles targeted to the high-end interior decoration market. The acceptance of their collection was such that the brand moved into the residential and hospitality markets as well, offering high-quality products with unique designs that are timeless, sophisticated, and elegant. After 24 years of continuous creative work, Mr. Pollack left the company in 2012, having created a renowned brand that is synonym with beautiful, innovative, and well-crafted textiles. Nowadays the design studio is led by Rachel Doriss, continuing Mark’s design tradition while implementing new manufacturing techniques that can help in meeting the demands of designers and decorators with such factors as color, fiber content, luster, scale, and texture according to their decorative needs. During the past 30 years, Pollack’s fabric collections have expanded to include more than 2500 colorways for upholstery, wallcovering and window fabrics. Mrs. Doriss and the in-house studio designers collaborate with mills throughout the world to create unique yarns that can be useful in many residential and commercial venues. The brand’s textile lines feature diverse fabric types such as velvets with silk, mohair or even acrylic piles. The range is sophisticated, beautiful, and superbly crafted.

Mark Pollack has launched in 2019 two new collections: Xanadu and Hospitality. Xanadu collection features complex construction, interesting yarns, and wonderful colorways that are unique and available for both indoors and outdoors use. The Hospitality collection features six upholstery options and four window fabric in graphic patterns and luxe surfaces. As with the full catalog of this brand, these two new proposals coordinate well with all previously presented top-of-the-line textiles, rendering them a great option for new decorative projects.
